Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how GigPro ("GigPro," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website at gigpro.live, the GigPro application at app.gigpro.live, the artist websites we host, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Who this policy covers

GigPro is a platform that lets musicians and bands build websites, manage gigs, publish electronic press kits, host media, collect fan email addresses, and receive booking inquiries. This policy applies to two groups of people:

  • Account holders — the artists, bands, managers, and other users who sign up for and operate a GigPro account.
  • Visitors and fans — people who visit an artist website hosted on GigPro, sign up for an artist's mailing list, or submit a booking or contact form.

An important distinction runs through this policy: for information that fans and visitors give to an artist through a GigPro-hosted site (such as a mailing-list signup), the account holder is the party that decides how that information is used, and GigPro processes it on their behalf. We describe this in more detail in Section 4.

2. Information we collect

Artist & act contentBand or act names, bios, photos, videos, audio, gig dates, venue and contact details, press-kit content, and anything else you upload or publish.

Information we collect automatically

CategoryExamples
Device & log dataIP address, browser type, operating system, referring pages, and access times.
Usage dataPages viewed, features used, and how you interact with the Service, collected through analytics tools.
Cookies & similar technologiesSmall files and identifiers used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure traffic (see Section 6).

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, health, or precise geolocation), and we ask that you not upload it to the Service.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Create and maintain your account and host your artist website and content;
  • Provide the Service's features — gig tracking, EPKs, media hosting, mailing-list collection, contact/booking forms, and custom domains;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions for paid plans;
  • Send you transactional and administrative messages, such as confirmations, security alerts, and changes to our terms or policies;
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
  • Monitor, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, including through analytics;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you upload to train advertising profiles or serve third-party ads. GigPro is ad-free.

4. Fan & visitor data

GigPro gives account holders tools to collect email addresses through double opt-in mailing lists and to receive booking inquiries through contact forms. When a fan or venue submits information through an artist's GigPro-hosted site:

  • The information (such as an email address, name, or message) is delivered to and controlled by the account holder, who is responsible for how they use it and for having any consent required.
  • GigPro stores and processes that information on the account holder's behalf, so that features like mailing lists and inbox routing work.
  • Mailing-list signups use double opt-in: the fan must confirm their email address before being added to a list.

If you are a fan or visitor and want your information corrected or removed from a particular artist's list, contact that artist directly, or reach out to us at the address below and we will help route your request to the relevant account holder.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

Service providers

We use trusted third parties to operate the Service. They may access personal information only to perform work for us and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. These include:

ProviderPurpose
StripePayment processing for paid subscriptions. Stripe collects and stores your card details directly under its own privacy policy; GigPro does not store full card numbers.
Google AnalyticsMeasuring website traffic and understanding how the Service is used.
Email delivery providerSending transactional messages (such as confirmations and password resets) and delivering mailing-list emails on behalf of account holders.
Hosting & infrastructureCloud hosting, storage, content delivery, and domain services used to run the Service and host artist sites.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our terms; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of GigPro, our users, or the public.

Business transfers

If GigPro is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any change in ownership or use of your personal information.

Public content

Content you choose to publish on your artist website or press kit — bios, media, gig dates, and similar — is intended to be public and may be viewed, indexed, and shared by anyone.

6. Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and measure traffic. We group them as:

  • Essential cookies — required for the Service to function, such as authentication and security.
  • Analytics cookies — set through Google Analytics to help us understand usage and improve the Service.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working. Where required, we honor recognized browser opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).

7. Third-party embeds

The Service lets you embed content from platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, and YouTube, and you may connect a custom domain. When you or your visitors interact with embedded content, those third parties may collect information under their own privacy policies. We do not control and are not responsible for the practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After you close your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements. Backups may persist for a limited time before being overwritten. Account holders can delete individual content, contacts, and mailing-list entries at any time from within the app.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information;
  • Opt out — unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such message, or by contacting us; and
  • Portability — request your information in a portable format where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@gigpro.live. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

10. California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you specific rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know what we collect, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

GigPro does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. In the twelve months before the date of this policy, we collected the categories of personal information described in Section 2 (identifiers, commercial/billing information, internet and usage activity, and content you provide) for the business purposes described in Section 3. We do not knowingly collect the personal information of consumers under 16 for sale.

You may exercise your California rights by emailing privacy@gigpro.live. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and may verify your identity directly.

11. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any regulators as required by law. Please keep your account password confidential and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

12. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for people aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@gigpro.live and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
